Of Flag, Fascism, and Fellow Man (Warrior Poet Mental Yoga 187)

To care about a flag (or other inanimate object), a flag that you think you somehow get to personally idolize in whatever supreme image you choose for it to represent, over a just as if not more so valid interpretation from others of the symbolic association/coupling of that same idol, more than you care about the freedom, respectful coexistence, empathy, equal rights, and wellbeing of your fellow man, you are a fascist. The quality of a human being’s soul, the validity of his perspective and the capability of his leadership, is determined by his present and ongoing unbiased compassion, empathy, stability, integrity towards, and peaceful co-existence with his fellow man. To suggest or support the idea that a person not displaying emphatic blind obedience or resigning recognition to your idol or an idol you and your group have chosen to represent an institution, region, country or cause, is un-American, anti-Christian, universally disrespectful, inhumane, and over-dominant bully behavior. It is sweeping collective subjugation shrouded under the prideful masked hood of a supposed respectful-to protect and serve-patriotism; a forced worship and bended (or un-bended) knee under the declaration of the prime importance of celebrated freedom.

If you want a flag, a statue, an idol, or any other symbol to represent anything positive and nurturing for all, it must be represented in the objective reality of the present with love, empathy, respect, honor, and integrity via the persistent actions and behavior of all of those claiming the symbol or idol.

You don’t get to force someone to get up off of a bus seat or to stand as you see fit. If you want them to stand for something, then be the difference yourself, set the example, make them want to get up and stand by your side, next to you, in your cause, in your effort, in your belief, in your prioritizing and unifying love. That’s how you make a difference in the world. That’s what we need more of. That’s how you unify the races, a country, and the world.

Less will fail as it should, because less is nothing more than empty, numb, and over-dominant, doublespeak/doublethink lip service.

The Financial Reward and Favorable Electability of a Persona that Ills, Endorses, and Enables (Warrior Poet Mental Yoga 153)

My first boss out of veterinary school was a man that I looked to for admiration, respect, leadership, skill, and inspiration. I was hungry to begin my career as an associate veterinarian under his tutelage. At the time, I believed the profession to be saturated by exceptional professionals who prioritized empathy, exceptional knowledge and skill, integrity, and honor towards everything and everyone. I believed that the reward of money would follow those attributes naturally, secondarily, and in a balanced truthful fashion. It did not take long to discover how wrong such a premise had been. It was like that point in time when you finally figure out that your parents are not invincible, that they don’t know everything in the world, that they never did, and that in many ways, they are as damaged and confused as you are in your own childhood misperceptions.

I learned quickly how he polished the image of his ineptitude with insincere charming bullshit spewed towards anyone who would listen, towards anyone susceptible to his tactics of entertaining deception. I learned how much he loved to manipulate clients into spending massive amounts of money for unnecessary diagnostics and treatments when he did not care or even have a clue about the reality of the case. I learned how he lied to everyone about everything; his wife, his associate, his peers, his staff, and his clients. His relentless pursuit, his unquestionable priority, was selling without conscience, without validity, almost always absent of a fair exchange over a service or skill of objective need. Being a veterinarian seemed to mean nothing to him beyond serving as a mask of respectable authority and having a license to ill. I honestly don’t remember him ever doing the right thing even once when he knew that he could get away with doing less. I witnessed overt malpractice and unethical manipulation of clients on a number of occasions, but fearing unemployment, the associated possibility of being blacklisted by him in the veterinary community, and quickly realizing that in truth, maybe there were more of his character types in our profession than mine, I was frozen in indecision, and thus controlled by the fear of him for a time. The truth was also apparent to many of the staff, but like myself, most were also caught in the employer fear trap. To be fair, I suppose others liked his tactics and the emboldening sense that they felt from carrying out his passive-aggressive manipulation and revenue depletion of others. There are always those minions who prefer such a destabilized approach to their interactions with others.

This man became a very successful businessman and eventually was elected President of my state Veterinary Medical Association. He deserves those accolades. They should be acknowledged, but what should also be acknowledged is that you should hope he never tried to diagnose or treat your pet for anything. He spoke bullshit and sappy charm to all of his clients and most of them ate it up. It was/is almost like most people really want(ed) the bullshit, the show, the song and dance. They just want to be entertained and have their assumptions and beliefs, no matter how far fetched or off the mark they might be, endorsed and enabled. It makes me sick to even think about the insanity of it all for too long. I still can’t fathom how the system became so broken that it props up people of that nature to become financially successful and to become esteemed as elected leaders who supposedly have everyone’s best interest at heart. Such a system leaves all of the “patients” under the care of an incompetent doctor of malicious intent whether those patients know it or not.

Offensive War…Only Against the Bad Guys (WPMY 139)

A government in perpetual offensive and imperialistic war with other nations will always be just as destabilizing, oppressive, and predatory to their own citizenry. It may be masked more in a psychological shroud of brainwashing and patriotic indoctrination, and present itself in a very different light and context to the people, but it will be present. It is similar to a boss who lies, cheats, and steals from his clients, yet pretends he would never do the same to his own employees.

Subtle Realities of the Present (WPMY 135)

6.5 trillion lost and irrelevant, because it’s all about freedom.

38 billion a great gift of peace and prosperity to the worst of entangling alliances.

Al Nusra, our comrade, confident, and ally, once again.
They Tow the line and the targets like no other.

A woman’s right to choose proclaimed,
as every cold button civil liberty is macerated in lipstick glee.

Yes We Can. Yes, Yes, We Can.

Exceptionalistic protection like no other, from a misogynistic, mega-corporate, witch-hunter, ever-revolving racist.

Make America Angry, Dumb and Dumber Again.

Hell hath no fury like that of a woman’s scorn or a comb over.

That’s for sure.

Only 250,000 trapped in Aleppo, as if you care.

Proxy-War with Yemen, but I guess someone must kill the children as they donate quite graciously to the Clinton Foundation.

The Supreme Arms Dealer in Chief blew G.W. away by a good 30 billion in sales in only his first 6 years on the job.
And domestic gun violence really is so much more tragic than global chaos and destruction.

Everyone should be proud to cheat the government, the Representatives of the People and the Common Good, out of everything they may…..foodstamps, birthcontrol, welfare, healthcare, and such. It’s great when everyone is only getting smarter.

Crucify the third party by a standard 20 fold greater than a myopic allegiance to one of two purple doppelgangers ’cause their truth isn’t so entertaining.

Hell Yeah America!

Freedom ain’t fucking free!
But ahhhh, wait a minute, it is, ain’t it…unless you’re just fighting for your own version of it…

You can censor everyone’s words and everyone’s writing, and you can trample on everyone’s natural rights, and thoughts, and freedoms, but don’t you dare, don’t you dare, trample on my flag or my party. That’s disrespectful and full of hate for me and my country.

Peasant Identity Association Escapism (WPMY 129)

Who do you think each of the following most often readily identify with; a white man, a black man, and a small business owner?

A lower class or middle class white person most often identifies with their buddy President George W Bush. They believe that they have almost everything in the world in common with him. He is on their side fighting for them and with them against those others that they have nothing in common with.

A lower class or middle class black person most often identifies with their man President Barack Obama. They believe that they have almost everything in the world in common with him. He is on their side fighting for them and with them against those others that they have nothing in common with.

A local small business owner most often identifies with some international CEO of multiple billion dollar company. They believe that they are cut from the same cloth and that such a CEO shares and cares about their own trials and tribulations because they can relate to them like no other non-business owner might. He is on their side fighting for them and with them against all the non-business owners in the world that they have nothing in common with.

It’s all a farce; it’s all delusion; each of these people is simply running from the reality of their own true identity. They are all “peasants” and are all a thousand times closer with one another in common interests , their struggles and successes of everyday life, and all of the socioeconomic factors affecting them and their families than they are with the “aristocracy” (phantasy modified authority figures) of their choosing.

Until this white man, this black man, and this small business owner can look at one another and accept that they are all from the same tribe and family, and that they should all work together and not against one another in the name of some illusional identity association escapism, they will all assure their own perpetual subjugation and parasitism to and from the aristocracy. Divided they (we) will fall.

The Majority of Power and the Minority of Not; A Sick Cycle of Blame and Reincarnating Crucifixion (WPMY 128)

The majority of power most often trains the minority of not

to become as foul, overbearing, unbalanced, and oppressive

as they themselves happen to be.

Then,

the majority looks back upon their damaged and broken child,

the extrinsic manifestation of their philosophies and behavior,

the Frankenstein that they have brought to life in their own deplorable image,

and they despise the irrefutable evidence reflected so pristinely in a mirror of reaping.

The avoidance of wandering gaze and ignorance impossible,

majority sins must be shed in the undeniable burden they bear.

Upon the minority lamb they fall

in excusing demonization,

to ripen for sacrificial slaughter and bountiful fruiting distraction.

Washed in blood and its pooled reflection,

We slaughter the lamb,

We kill our enemies,

We subjugate our workers,

We destabilize our own children, our own pets, and our own mates.

We even travel to the future to conquer the rebellious robots of our creation.

Our Father who art in heaven,

Hallowed be our delusion.

Our kingdom come,

Our will be done,

In heaven as it is on earth.

Give us this day,

More than our brothers,

More than our need,

And hold us not in account for any of our Debts,

Nor any of our greed,

Forgive us our trespasses,

As we crucify the scapegoat embodiment of our own relentless madness and sin,

And let us not see nor hear nor speak of our own sick and utterly hypocritical behavior,

But deliver us from all awareness and the keeping of our brothers.

Forever and ever,

Amen.

Making the World Safe for Animals and Spirits (WPMY 123)

“If you want to make the world safe for animals and spirits, you must have a system that reduces the amount of fear and greed and hatred and domineering to their minimum, which means that you must have enough economic security to get rid at least of that source of worry. Enough personal responsibility to prevent people from wallowing in sloth. Enough property to protect them from being bullied by the rich, but not enough to permit them to bully. And the same thing with political rights and authority—enough of the first for the protection of the many, too little of the second for domination by the few.”

“Sounds like peasants to me,” said Pete dubiously.

“Peasants plus small machines and power. Which means that they’re no longer peasants, except insofar as they’re largely self-sufficient.”

“And who makes the machines? More peasants?”

“No; the same sort of people that make them now. What can’t be made satisfactorily except by mass production methods, obviously has to go on being made that way. About a third of all production—that’s what it seems to amount to. The other two-thirds are more economically produced at home or in a small workshop. The immediate, practical problem is to work out the technique of that small-scale production. At present, all the research is going to the discovery of new fields of mass production.”
