Love vs Sex 211

Do you think

a

soul knows

who has loved it most,

even

as the heart

refuses

to

whisper

the tenderest name?

Is

the profoundness

of

the delusion

so vehement,

because the love itself

is

so calm, stable, and pure?

Is the screaming

and the rage and the crying and the tears,

all

 a product of

terrifying visceral paranoia and fear

attached to

a

possibility

of

lies and deception,

or

is it a curse

spewed at the Heavens

in

weeping damnation

and

resentment

for

the fucking Angel,

who they now know,

stands

undeniably

solid and true

within

their midst.

Who now,

reaches

in

empathy and earnest

for their hand

and

for their heart.

Who now,

begs for them

to

believe once again,

despite it all,

despite everything

that they have ever learned

and

everything that they have ever been taught,

to be

born once more

into the innocence of faith,

the naivety of trust,

and

the

highly

sensitive

vulnerability

of

suffering

an

indomitable

love.
